Cornwall’s urban regeneration company – CPR Regeneration – today welcomed the Government’s decision to approve a £34 million bid by Cornwall County Council for major transport improvements in the Camborne-Pool-Redruth area.

In an FSB poll of over 9,000 small business owners, more than 80 percent said that fuel costs are likely to make it more difficult for them to expand their business and hire more staff in the next 12 months. Nearly 40 percent said that fuel costs would make it likely that they will have to reduce staff numbers in the next 12 months.

The new £3.6 million Barncoose link road in Redruth has officially been opened.
Called Barncoose Avenue, it is the first part of Cornwall County Council’s proposed £48 million east-west link road from Redruth to Camborne, and will allow for further development of the east end of Barncoose Industrial Estate, with the potential to accommodate around 950 [...]
